Re:fill - Cycles

Artwork & graphic concept for Re:fill's new album.

I was inspired by Escher's illusionistic graphic painting techniques. Elements of architecture with impossible perspectives and typefaces wedged together. I used grayscale exclusively, mixing illustration with photographic post-production.

“Cycles” is the picture of part of our life and the different emotions experienced in that period. These feelings repeated themselves like sequences during the creative and recording process.  These “Cycles” have been translated into music, the kind of music we love: melody, rhythm and freedom.
